McDonald's has gotten their marketing machine in full gear with the addition of their no brand
Quarter Pounder stores, no golden arches. The only thing on the menu is a quarter pounder with fries and a drink or a double quarter pounder with fries and a drink. No shakes, no apple pies, no delicious little nuggets.
15,000 showed up for the grand opening of the first store but what is even stranger is that it was found out that McDonald's had hired a marketing company that paid 1000 of those people to stand in line. Their purchases were also paid for. If you want to check out the Quarter Pounder website:
