I took this picture of a life-size Grimace outside of the McDonald's located in Downtown Disney in Orlando. I just recently came across it while looking through some old pictures. I'm wondering when is there going a commercial resurgence of the McDonaldland characters? I remember as a kid watching the McDonaldland commercials while the Saturday morning cartoons were eating my brain. Marcela recently bought me a Hamburglar figure made by Huckleberry Toys.There are a few other figures in the set: Ronald McDonald, Mayor McCheese, Captain Crook and Grimace. I'm glad she got me the Hamburglar though. He's always been a favorite of mine. Who would have thought that?

I remember when they introduced Birdie the Early Bird to sell McD's breakfast. Those spots ran on Saturday cartoons forever!!
