Pollo Tropical's got some new Grilled Tropical wings. They are available in orders of five ( $3.59) or eight wings ($6.59). The eight wing order includes 2 regular side dishes.
My mother wanted to eat some Pollo Tropical for dinner so I figured this would be my opportunity to try the wings. I order the eighter with fries and corn. I wish there was an order of 0 instead. Just kidding. I tried them and honestly the wings at Checkers are better, it hurts me to say that. There was nothing special about the seasoning on them although the spicy Amazon sauce was pretty good.

I was disappointed with these myself. It's obvious they didn't marinade them in the same marinade they use on the rest of the chicken because they were very bland.
It sucks because every time I order a breast and a wing from PT, the wing tastes so good.
I've always said they should just sell grilled wings, so I was excited to try this.
But it was a complete failure.
the wings at Checkers are only good when it's 4 a.m. and Checkers is the nearest eatery.
