The Burger Beast in the Miami Herald/ The Quickie's Challenge and Generation ñ
1 commentsThere's been a whole bunch of cool stuff going on in my world lately. Just wanted to mention some in case you missed it. On November 12th, the Miami Herald did an article on the Burger Beast entitled: Man vs. Meat . It was on the front page of their Tropical Life section.
Thanks to Luis "Burgerman" Fabara for those two pictures of the article. Speaking of the Burgerman. I met with him recently(he's from Ecuador). He's gonna keep us posted on the burger scene in Ecuador. Expect a post from him in the very near future. I mention in the Miami Herald article (written by Tom Bowker) my 6 favorite burger places in SoFla in alphabetical order: Charm City Burger Company - Deerfield Beach, El Mago Del Las Fritas - Miami, Keg South - Pinecrest, Kingdom - Miami Design District, Le Tub - Hollywood & Quickie's Burger & Wings - Hollywood. If you went around and tried to check out all 6 places, I'm interested in your thoughts. Write me at burgerbeast@burgerbeast.com . The article in the Miami Herald also focused on the 4 lb. Titan Burger Challenge at Quickie's in Hollywood. The event was this past Saturday. Did I finish it? Well, I'm sure if I had killed it you would have heard by now. I made a valiant effort but time just wasn't on my side. Which brings me to my last bit of news. I'm going to have a show on the Generation ñ site. The first episode should be up this Wednesday and covers the 4 lb. Burger Challenge. With the show I hope I'll be able to show a little of the Burger Beast world and all the cool people I come in contact with on a daily basis. And of course, food will be a major part of the show. One last shout out to my friends, Shroud Eater. Their song "We are Beasts" is going to be the theme song of the show. Check it out below. So stay tuned and thanks for reading!

Hey Burgerbeast, question...
If i were to take on this challenge and take it to the floor, might there be a 'Burgerbeast' t-shirt in it for me?
