Thoughts....

As I sit here with the Black Keys playing "I Got Mine" in the background. It's been a good week since I posted anything on here. It's not because I don't have any new places or news to speak of, I've got plenty. Actually, in case you're wondering, still got reviews on Andiamo Pizza, Bennigan's (yup that sh*thole is still around) , Don Chile, Fritanga Mendoza Jr (my first Nicaraguan review), Knauss Berry Farm, Puccini Pasta, Wayward Sailor, I revisit Sports Exchange in the Gables, I try the new frita at Latin American on 8th Street (those fuckers took down the award I gave them for Best Cuban Sandwich) and of course, at the urgence of my friend Javi De La Vega I check out Fuddrucker's New Fudds Prime beef.

I wanted to step back and approach the blog in a different manner. If you keep up with me through Twitter or my Facebook Fan Page, I've been giving away coupons, shirts and other stuff I have lying around. I'm looking for more interactivity with whoever reads my ramblings and reviews.

Looking forward to Chef Jeremiah's gastroPod truck. He's got a "a triple-decker slider stuffed with shaved pork belly on a potato bun" on deck for this weekend. Sounds good. Follow them on Twitter.

Also looking forward to Latin Burger and Taco truck. "Each shift will be a mix of homeless and culinary students supervised by a chef." (thanks to Jackie Sayet and Miami New Times for that quote.). Interesting.

One last thing, I wanted to thank Thrillist for stealing the scan I made of A Chef's Burger's Menu. I don't think it would have been too hard to ask if it was ok to use.
